تونس: نساء تونس ونجاح الثورة الشعبية

تفزع الحكومات العربية والحكومات خارج الوطن العربى (خاصة الحكومة الأمريكية الإسرائيلية) من ثورة تونس الحالية أو أى ثورة شعبية أخرى، هذه الحكومات (المتعاونة داخليا وخارجيا) المتمرسة فى عمل انقلاب ضد الشعوب- تفهم لغة الانقلابات والمؤامرات فهما علميا محكما، لكنها تصاب بالفزع والتخبط والجهل فى مواجهة ثورة يقودها الشعب بنفسه، كما حدث فى تونس هذا الشهر الأول من عام ٢٠١١. سوف تنجح ثورة تونس رغم كل المناورات والتآمرات من داخل الوطن العربى وخارجه، سوف تنجح هذه الثورة الشعبية لأنها تشمل النساء والرجال والشباب والأطفال، وتلاميذ المدارس الابتدائية إلى الجامعة، لأنها ثورة قام بها الشعب التونسى رافعا شعارات الحرية، الكرامة، العدالة.. شعارات تشمل القيم الإنسانية.

نحتفل اليوم وككل سنة بذكرى صدور مجلة الأحوال الشخصية التي مثلت عند الإعلان عنها في 13 أوت 1956 انتصارا للعقل الحداثي و أهم أسباب تحرر التونسيات. نحتفل بها على طريقتنا رفضا منا للجحود التاريخي وتغييب الذاكرة واعترافا منا بداية بفضل شعبنا الذي لولاه لما كان ذلك ممكنا نصا وروحا. نعلن ذلك دون أي رغبة في الاستئثار ودون استثناء من خلال نظرة نقدية لما قدمه نساء ورجال من أجيال متعاقبة ساهموا في وضع اللبنات الأولى من أجل حق التونسيات في الكرامة والحرية.

Sudan: Women Dream of Independence

John Garang, the revered late leader of the Sudan Peoples' Liberation Movement, once said that women are the "the poorest of the poor and the marginalised of the marginalised". As the reality of an independent South Sudan approaches, the region's women have vowed they will not remain second class citizens. Margaret Michael Modi, the head of women’s affairs in Central Equatoria State, cast her vote on the first day. "The first day (of the vote) we did not sleep. I went to the polling station and women were crying as they cast their vote," she told IPS over the phone from the southern capital, Juba.

السعودية: حملة «بلدي» النسائية

تنطلق اليوم الأحد 16 يناير 2011 الحملة الانتخابية الوطنية النسائية للمجالس البلدية، "بلدي" بعد تحضير استغرق قرابة العام حتى تنتظم نساء من أطراف الوطن في هذه الحملة التي أطلقت موقعها على الفيس بوك الأسبوع الماضي (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=126901933994463&ref=ts)، موضحة فيه ما هي، رؤيتها وغايتها ورسالتها وأهدافها وبعض مخاطباتها. والمميز في هذه الحملة أنها لم تنطلق من فراغ وإنما كانت امتداداً للحملة النسائية التي حاولت أن تشارك في أول دورة للانتخابات البلدية في الألفية الجديدة عام 2004-2005 والتي انتهت بتثبيت حق المرأة السعودية في المشاركة في الانتخابات البلدية تصويتاً وترشحاً وفق لائحة الانتخابات التي صدرت عام 2004 لكنها أجلت مشاركتها لعدم اكتمال استعدادات لجنة الانتخابات لمشاركة المرأة آنذاك. كما أنها استفادت من تلك التجربة التي كانت تحمل بذرة الأفكار التي طورتها حملة بلدي، من محاولة ضم معظم مناطق المملكة إلى الحملة، ومن تنظيم الصف النسائي ليخرج بصورة مهنية ومنظمة بتحضير برامج انتخابية لكل المرشحات اللاتي أعلنّ استعدادهن للترشح ومن حيث محاولة التنسيق مع الجهات الرسمية بمخاطبتها رسمياً ومن حيث الاستعانة بالإعلام لنشر الأفكار التي طرحتها المجموعة المنظمة ونشر التحقيقات المساندة للحملة ونشر الوعي البلدي والمشاركة النسائية بين الجمهور.

We members of SuWEP from both sectors North & South met at Afhad University for Women in Khartoum during the period from 12th to 13th of December, 2010 to discuss issues that affects women in the pre’ during and post referendum periods.

Ce colloque a été interdit par les autorités algériennes le jour de son ouverture dans le mépris le plus total sans qu’aucune raison n’ait été avancée officiellement. Cette nouvelle atteinte aux libertés fondamentales de réunion et d’expression est le marqueur d’un autoritarisme politique qui foule aux pieds le droit des citoyens et fait dans l’excès de zèle et le cynisme lorsqu’il s’agit de celui des FEMMES ?

International: Campaign to Promote Sexual & Bodily Rights across Muslim Societies One Day Struggle 2010

On November 9, 2010, the 2nd international “One Day One Struggle” Campaign to promote sexual and bodily rights in Muslim societies will take place in 12 countries across Middle East, North Africa, South and Southeast Asia. With diverse, groundbreaking actions and events, almost 50 participating Human Rights organizations, Universities and Municipalities will simultaneously call for public attention to issues like Right to Information, Sexuality Education, Sexual Health, Bodily Autonomy and Sexual Rights of Individuals, LGBTTQ Rights, Sexual Diversity and Islam, Sexuality and Shari’a as well as the struggle to stop sexual rights violations ranging from Polygamy to killings of women, gay people and transsexuals.
