التقرير “المستفز” الذي أصبحنا عليه أمس، على صفحات جريدة الغد، بتوقيع الزميلة رانيا صرايرة، يختصر لنا واقع السلوك الرسمي العام، وشكل الحلول القانونية التي تنفذها الهيئات الرسمية للهروب من المسؤولية الأخلاقية أمام المواجهات الاجتماعية والاقتصادية وحتى السياسية! الخبر الذي أورده التقرير يفيد بأن القاصر التي تعرضت للاغتصاب، بدل أن “ترمى” في دور الرعاية أو تكون عرضة لجريمة شرف، يمكن أن تستفيد من عرض قانوني ممتاز وربما لا يتكرر، بحيث يتم تزويجها لمغتصبها لمدة يجب ألا تقل عن خمس سنوات (!!!)، ثم تتحرر هي من كلام الناس، ويتحرر هو من الملاحقة القانونية، ويا دار ما دخلك شر!

أفاد تقرير جديد للشبكة السورية لحقوق الإنسان بأن 3517 سورية قضين نحبهن منذ تفجر الثورة قبل نحو عشرين شهرا جراء "موجة القتل" التي يشنها النظام السوري بحق معارضيه المطالبين برحيله.

Justice for Iran promotes and defends women’s rights in Iran and challenges impunity for sexual violence against women by the Iranian regime. Established in 2010 by the human rights lawyer and women’s rights activist Shadi Sadr, the organization works to raise public awareness and demand accountability for egregious women’s rights violations committed by the Iranian government.

WLUML-ICO team recently had the opportunity to meet with Samira Ibrahim, a brave young Egyptian activist. Our conversation with Samira was inspirational. She opened up about her background - where it all began - and about her exciting current work. Samira also spoke to us about the many forms of state violence that she has faced along the way.
