Leadership workshops in Morocco and Nigeria create hope for social change

Women's Learning Partnership Recent workshops conducted by WLP’s partners in Morocco and Nigeria have led to a number of new initiatives for women’s rights advocacy and conflict resolution.
L’Association Démocratique des Femmes du Maroc (ADFM) held workshops with women activists in rural areas of Morocco in which participants developed a plan to set up a crisis center for women and create a regional network of women’s rights NGOs in the region.
In Nigeria, BAOBAB for Women’s Human Rights held workshops that emphasized consensus-building and cooperation, one of which provided a forum for dialogue between Muslim and Christian in the city of Zaria.
