Egypt: Application to establish New Woman Research Foundation rejected

A brief update from New Woman Research Center (NWRC):
NWRC has informed us that they have filed a law suit regarding this matter and their court date is September 28th 2003.
NWRC has requested meetings with the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, the Head of the Parliament, the Shoura Council, the National Council for Women and the Omsbudsman office. Only the Omsbudsman office has responded and NWRC have filed a complaint regarding the non-registration there.
