The Rural Hub (Le Hub Rural) is an independent quaternary organization funded by several partners (EU, MAE, IFAD UNIFEM). It operates in a complex institutional environment where multiple power relations are at play and aims to help actors in West and Central Africa (states, intergovernmental and civil society organizations and development partners) to harmonise rural policies and programmes. The Rural Hub delivers free support of various kinds in four major areas, including land policy; providing methodological expertise in formulating, implementing and evaluating policies, information and facilitating political dialogue.
