Agrarian change, gender and land rights

In a preface to the book, the UNRISD Director wrote: “The contributions to this volume explore how the deflationary macro-economic policies and processes associated with economic liberalisation are impacting on rural livelihoods and agrarian change in diverse political economies, focusing in particular on the gender specificities of these impacts.
